Maintenance Resurfacing, Regional NSW

Swietelsky Rail Australia (SRA) has been providing track resurfacing services for the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC)'s Interstate NSW network since 2020.

The 2024 September "Super-Shut" presented significant demands on the rail maintenance market, and the SRA team rose to the challenge by double-shifting our high-production 09-3XD tamper and SSP303 regulator throughout the weekend between Yass and Cootamundra.

Demonstrating our agility and responsiveness to amend works schedules based on track condition and client requests, our team applied a collaborative delivery approach to complete additional scope and support neighbouring worksites. This included a 3.5km track sledding site that was triple squeezed and dynamically stabilised.

Once again, SRA delivered the project on time, incident-free, and without issue, ensuring a seamless handback.
